Pictures From Barnsley Trip

The Pontefract Road End - The Barnsley FC Megastore Entrance is here if you're tempted.

Back of the East Stand - a chap going into Corporate came over and shook my hand when I was taking this picture: "Just wanted to shake the hand of a fellow Pompey fan!" he said.

The northern corner of the East Stand - it's nice and modern and an excellent facility albeit lacking in a bit of character (personal view).

Pompey team coach at the back of the North Stand - I saw the Pompey players hop off the bus before entering the ground. King Kanu got some nice attention by a chap wielding a very large 'world footballers book' or something, he got his prize autograph. Just shows you what a superstar Kanu is...everywhere he goes and how lucky we are to have him at Pompey.

The West Stand - this is the oldest stand at Oakwell, plenty of character here including old-fashioned, very narrow turnstiles.

The two teams emerge on the pitch welcomed by The Tykettes!
