On The Way To The Ground
Personally, I think I did well to find this sign! The online directions were not 100% clear. But parking wasn't a problem (I parked on the side of the road in the industrial estate). It was a 10 minute walk to the ground.
I saw this sign during my walk to the ground - rather apt I thought in light of where The Pompey Trust finds itself! It made me smile anyway! It's a 'sign' you see! Sorry, I'll fetch my coat...
View of the ground, just past Crewe Railway Station, as you walk over the railway bridge.
Yay! Gresty Road!
Street advert for The Sentinel outside of South Street News just off Gresty Road and close to the ground.

Pompey defend a set-piece in the second-half.
Jed Wallace closes down Bryon Moore.
Patrick Agyemang and Gregor Robertson (I think that's #15) do battle in the second-half.
The Pompey wall defends against a late Crewe free-kick by Luke Murphy.

Pompey MOTM: I thought Patrick Agyemang was MOTM for Pompey although I note that The Football League Paper gave it to Johnny Ertl who also had an excellent match. The hard working David Connolly was also very good during the first half before being replaced at the break and Therry Racon had his best half of football for Pompey during that first period. Plenty of positive performances throughout the team to discuss!
Next Up For Pompey: Bury at home on Saturday March 9th in League One, kick-off 3PM.
