On The Way To The Ground

Personally, I think I did well to find this sign! The online directions were not 100% clear. But parking wasn't a problem (I parked on the side of the road in the industrial estate). It was a 10 minute walk to the ground.

P1070697
I saw this sign during my walk to the ground - rather apt I thought in light of where The Pompey Trust finds itself! It made me smile anyway! It's a 'sign' you see! Sorry, I'll fetch my coat...

Yes!

Pompey team versus Crewe Alexandra: Simon Eastwood, Yassin Moutaouakil, Gabor Gyepes, Ricardo Rocha, Dan Butler, Jed Wallace, Johnny Ertl, Therry Racon, Liam Walker (replaced by Adam Reed in the 76th minute), David Connolly (replaced by James Keene at Half-Time) and Patrick Agyemang (replaced by John Akinde in the 87th minute)
Substitutes not used: Phil Smith, Adam Webster and Ashley Harris
Referee: Mr G. Eltringham
Attendance: 5,120 (including 485 Pompey fans)
Pompey MOTM: I thought Patrick Agyemang was MOTM for Pompey although I note that The Football League Paper gave it to Johnny Ertl who also had an excellent match. The hard working David Connolly was also very good during the first half before being replaced at the break and Therry Racon had his best half of football for Pompey during that first period. Plenty of positive performances throughout the team to discuss!
Next Up For Pompey: Bury at home on Saturday March 9th in League One, kick-off 3PM.
