Oakwell is a very different ground today with modern stands on three sides. Look at the open terracing back in the 1980s that was commonplace then.
Some interesting names in the Pompey line-up for this match (e.g.Francis, Golac, Bamber, McGarvey) and a good few who were in the promotion winning team of the 1986-87 season. See below for details.
