POMPEYCHICKEN'S HAT OF THE DAY
Today's hat is big and baggy, grey and pink. Big and baggy to represent footballers' shorts (or knickers as they were referred to) from a bygone era, grey to represent historical Black & White images and pink to represent the original colours of Portsmouth FC.
TODAY'S POMPEY VIDEO
For the final Hatvent Calendar entry sit back and enjoy this classic piece of film of the 1939 FA Cup Final.
I hope you've enjoyed all the silly hats and watching all the Pompey video clips as much as I've enjoyed trawling through YouTube and British Pathe to find them.
There's some great historical material out there and some very creative and funny people too, Pompey fans at our best!
Have a very Merry Pompeytastic Christmas everyone!
Enjoy!
